Our volunteers are at the heart of The Lake Chapala Society. From the smile of the first person that greets you at the desk in the LCS Services Office, to the helpful member at the Information Desk, you are surrounded by LCS volunteers!

In order to offer the myriad of activities and services that we do, we depend on our loyal and hard-working volunteers. You may be surprised to see that soon you are involved in volunteer activities alongside many of your Lakeside friends. And if you are new to our community, there is no better way to get to know people than through volunteerism.

In addition to meeting LCS members, volunteers enjoy the privileges of checking out 24 videos free during the year, and complimentary coffee during their volunteer time at LCS.

Current openings, as of February 2009 include Senior Director of Services and Activities, Director of Volunteers, Maintenance Manager, Medical Affairs Director, Professional Medical Programs Coordinator, Activities Director, Travel Director, and administrative volunteers to work with Terry Vidal on some short-term projects in the LCS office.
